Natural since 1583
It was in 1583 that SPA® water was first bottled. Even then, it was already famous. From all corners of the world, the elite came to Spa to benefit from the healing properties of its water, not only to drink it but also to bathe in it. Tsar Peter the Great, Victor Hugo, and Queen Marie-Henriette were among the regular guests of the Spa thermal baths.
High-quality water
SPA® mineral water is officially recognized as natural mineral water . This distinction is not easy to obtain, as natural mineral water must come from underground water with its original purity .
It must be protected from all risks and therefore strictly safeguarded. It must have a stable mineral composition over time and be bottled at the source.
Finally, it cannot undergo any chemical or microbiological treatment . SPA® water is therefore 100% naturally pure.
The Eco Pack, more sustainable packaging
In 2022, SPA® invested in a new production line to distribute SPA® water in large formats and created the Eco Pack. This technology offers numerous advantages; as with all our packaging, it guarantees perfect hygiene and water preservation. Furthermore, this sustainable packaging is made of 100% recyclable cardboard and an inner plastic liner , saving 70%* of plastic material compared to conventional bottles.
Finally, the Eco Pack simplifies users' lives with large 5L and 10L formats that are easy to transport, store and use.

SPA also has strong local roots in Belgium. We do not distribute our products more than 500 kilometers from the source and we prioritize local suppliers. Finally, we are committed to protecting the source on a daily basis; for this reason, we hold the highest certification (Platinum) from the Alliance for Water Stewardship.
